Women’s Circle – Lost Rhythms of the Red Thread

September 24

About the event

We are elated to be welcoming Red Tent Moray in Collaboration with The Woodland Orchestra’s  DrumSOULution to the Isle of Skye.

This is a unique drumming experience for women, a chance to come together in a safe and supportive space and join Donnah and Tessa on a beautiful journey over the course of the evening.

A deeply held journey into empowerment of being a woman, embodying release of the old and and inviting in Sovereignty and the collective,  an embodied , somatic celebration of living in the form of the Divine Feminine.

The event space at An Crùbh will be the location for a beautiful group of women to come together in safe, sacred space to share their stories, wisdom’s, challenges and accomplishments.

In the post shadow of the waxing gibbous  moon and the last stages of Capricorns deeply grounding influences we will gather and begin by introducing the Red Thread, what that means and our lineages of ancestors… then we will journey together, and invite you to share with us a heart opening cacao drink, and follow on to introduce the drums from DrumSOULution to the circle.

To each individual who wishes to explore and experience the full embodiment of the Drums vibrations you will have the chance to experience being in the centre of the drums, being drummed to.  Allowing the deep vibrations to move through our bodies, shaking our very cells, allowing us to release old wounds and strengthen what remains. Afterwards you will bask in a sound bath and then a sacred, safe space will be opened inviting anyone that would like, to share and connect.

Nibbles and refreshments will be provided (gluten free, dairy free, nut free).  You might like to have a light meal before coming, as the event does run through a usual dinner time.  We know some women like to share their love and connection through food, so we greatly appreciate any food you would like to share with others.

This evening is working on a donation basis, our usual price for this evening is £75, but we would like to make this wonderful experience more financially accessible for anyone that might need.  The payment works on a sliding scale from £35 – £75, when booking you will be asked to enter the amount you would like to pay (£35 or above).

An Crùbh is located on the A851 to Armadale road.. it is a beautifully created building, built by the local community, for the local community, with a truly magnificent event space that will hold us for the evening.
